So, these are the four phases of the menstrual cycle.
The Menstrual phase
The menstrual phase is the first phase of the cycle, and it starts when we have our periods. Because no pregnancy has occurred, levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone fall.The lining of your uterus that typically maintains a pregnancy is no longer required, therefore it sheds.
We might experience typical period symptoms like,
Headaches
Back pain
Bloating
Cramping
Mood swings
Tender breasts
The Follicular Phase
The follicular phase, which follows the menstrual phase, is the second phase of the menstrual cycle. FSH begins to be released, while estrogen levels are lower than in previous phase, causing us to feel weary. And this stage usually lasts 15-16 days.
The Ovulation Phase
The third phase of the cycle is ovulation, which begins when your ovary produces a mature egg. Ovulation occurs around day 14 of the cycle, in the middle of the cycle. And it only lasts for about a day. During this stage, higher hormone levels can make us feel more energized and wonderful !

The Luteal Phase
The Luteal phase is the last stage. This stage, also known as the premenstrual phase, signals the beginning of our bodies' new cycle. It can persist up to 14 days. And the symptoms are similar to menstrual symptoms, such as;
Bloating
Breast swelling
Hunger
Headache
